We were planning on doing it on memorial day weekend so we could get married on a sunday between graduation and residency but that is a Jewish holiday. But God works in mysterious ways. Think about what you want in a relationship.
I was thinking about this last night after listening to Radio West. The goal of dating at that age is to broaden your social circle and learn more about yourself. Long story short, everyone is dead on. We have been together for almost 6 years, so I'm well aware of what I got into, but it can still be tough. Pray about it and follow your heart. Typical American girls have the government to make them feel secure. Anyway, i know that this is not the experience of every surgical marriage but i guarantee most of them can relate in some way or another. He sees all families being able to stay together.
It's a foolish dream I suppose. And you seem like a good person. Totally hated it too.
A wonderful resource tool with great updates. But on saying that I do empathise with you all and a Doctor is very challenging and I know my Dad was always working and it is a demanding job for their spouses to live their lives but hey nothing at the top is ever easy. Too often, I think, priesthood holders think that being overly controlling, they are simply wielding their authority in the home. If your spouse thinks 8 is too young to get baptized, are you all right with waiting until they are older. I thought it was beautiful that they included him in the circle, even though he was not a Priesthood holder. So, kudos to you for having such a wonderful relationship for so long and getting through step 1 and 2 and matching.
